Tuesday, we cycled along the settlement in search for a temporary cure to my wandering, adventure-seeking soul. It has been quite a while since we basked under the sun and did something enjoyable out in the open in this island. Guiltily, we have become too accustomed to dimmed lights, small corners and long hours of lounging. Albeit the bulky appearance of the rented trike attracted some stares, I was quick to think pass the somewhat embarrassment of not having the ability to ride a real bicycle. The harder I paddled, the more liberated I felt. The sea was calm and all I could hear was the wind rushing against me.
I wish I could continuously cycle along the sea until I reach the other end of the world. There is something quite calming about that.
